Liveaboard Cruising

This class is a true adventure and will open the door to a lifetime of memorable sailing trips. You’ll spend the class living and cruising aboard our J120. Under the guidance of your instructor, you will be involved in all the logistics of the trip, from planning the itinerary to provisioning. With the beautiful southern California coast and offshore islands as your canvas, each class is unique and planned to meet the goals and interests of the group. Liveaboard Cruising is a tremendous learning opportunity for sailors who want to gain the tools to bareboat charter or sail their own boat anywhere in the world. Students taking Liveaboard Cruising can opt to test for the US Sailing Bareboat Cruising certification, valid for bareboat chartering around the world. Learn To Sail and Performance Cruising or comparable experience and certifications are prerequisite for this class. Liveaboard Cruising classes are typically three, five or seven days in length, but longer classes can be arranged for more depth of instruction and farther destinations.
