Becoming comfortable with spinnakers opens a whole new world of excitement in sailing. This class is great for racers or daysailors who want to become proficient in setting, flying, and dousing spinnakers. You will learn downwind sailing theory, rigging, mechanics, sail handling and trim, and downwind driving technique. You’ll learn a variety of sets and douses for different conditions and situations, giving you the tools you need to safely enjoy some thrilling downwind rides. This class is taught over two days on our J80s.
